This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students enjoy participating in our class activities everyday. They are very creative and hard-working individuals. Their abilities range from bring good artist, writers, and designers.
The typical request that I receive from my students is for additional copies of their work to show a loved one.
Unfortunately, our school resources, especially for ink, is extremely limited. My students with disabilities are very understanding about this, but it is also very difficult for me to say "no" to them, especially when I know that they want to display their hard work for a loved one.
My students come from low economic backgrounds, but it would make their day even more enjoyable if they are able to print out their work more consistently.
Having additional printer ink will help our classwork, research projects, presentations, and finished products be more dynamic when they are completed.
I can also supplement their learning by being able to print more materials for them in order to be able to complete assignments at home and creating study guides to perform well on tests.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
