My Project
My students are creative and imaginative little humans. They come from all over the world and represent a true cultural and diverse melting pot. The printer will serve as a replacement to one that I have had since 2014-2015.
My students use the class printer for everything from printing and scanning items for projects, to printing their published products in writing.
It serves as a primary tool during Science Fair and Black History Month, where students select and learn about a famous African American who contributed something to society. They tend to do a lot of work in small groups, where items are printed multiple times and shared with peers. As a teacher, and as a class, we use the scanner feature to upload data as well. The printer also provides quick copies when they are needed, such as when an unexpected new student walks in the door and needs to feel welcome and part of our class ecosystem.
