My Students
I work to empower every student to be the best and find their voice. Every student is motivated to develop and enhance his abilities, gifts, and strengths in academics, performing arts, science, or athletics. My students work hard and strive to reach beyond the stars because there’s no limit in the sky. They all inherently care about one another and make the school a village for all.
I teach 200 strong and adorable juniors and seniors, half of which have limited English proficiency.
About twenty percent of the remaining half have an IEP. Yet, it’s hard to tell who is struggling with what. That’s how great and committed they are! I love my students for who they are and appreciate their hard work.
My Project
Normally I would print class sets of assignments and use them for the corresponding classes during the day. However, with Covid-19, I don't want to risk the health of my students, given the virus' ability to spread on surfaces and its lifespan. With this printer, I will be able to print a set for each class. This will make my students safer and reduce their anxiety about getting their work done in a timely manner. Consequently, I expect to see a major boost in learning, readiness, and performance. We will be quite grateful to receive such a necessary tool!
