Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am the proud teacher of an amazing group of 28 (very different) fifth-grade students. They are extremely passionate about their learning and education, hard-working, dedicated, perseverant, and motivated.
As a classroom community, my students look out for one another, uplift one another, and push each other to do their best both academically and socially.
They are true leaders throughout the school- to both younger and older students. They are critical thinkers, never afraid to question and critique the world around them. They are truly a group of caring, thoughtful, and inspiring 10 and 11-year-olds.
My Project
My students are extremely passionate about the writing, social studies, and science projects that they create digitally, whether it be through Google Apps or through spectacular resources like Book Creator. While they have loved seeing their work digitally, there is nothing like being able to physically hold a project you have put so much intention, time, and effort into.
With this project, my students will not only be able to print their digital work, in color, but they will also be able to amplify their creativity as they are working on individual and group projects.
