Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Here at our school, we work hard to inspire and assist our students in any way we can. We are proud to call this school home. 99% of the school's population is a minority and from low-income families, but that will never stop us from achieving our goals and aspirations. I always remind my students, It does not matter where you come from, as long as you don't stop until you get to where you want to be!
My Photography class is filled with innovative and creative minds, but unfortunately, we do not have a good printer to show our amazing photos.
That is why we need your help!
I want to show them how to do proper critiques and talk about their work in a professional setting. I want them to know no boundaries or fear when expressing themselves and talking about their expressions. This is an outlet for them, a way to stop thinking of all the troubles around them and show the world their unique perspective of the world. I would love for them to have all the tools they need to succeed.
My Project
We will be learning about photography throughout the years and inspired by many different cultures and artists worldwide. I will be challenging their perspective on portrait and local landscape photography.
With this new printer, we will display our unique views of our local community and give us the freedom to create mix-media art.
Help my students be real photographers and see their work in full display as they would in a real gallery. Let's allow them to have everything they need to succeed.
