My Project
I am requesting a large format printer so that my students can create fliers for our rural community businesses as well as our organizations here at the school. We are a tiny rural community but have several entrepreneurs near our school.
We would like to offer our design skills to those small business owners by creating advertising posters and fliers.
My students will make posters and fliers to market the items those businesses have or services they offer. When items are in print it allows the members of the community to visualize services or items advertised. This poster machine will also have a nice impact on the library, hallways, and classrooms because it will be available for all faculty and student groups to use.
A print-rich environment is one in which children interact with many forms of print, including signs, labeled centers, wall stories, word displays, labeled murals, bulletin boards, charts, poems, and other printed materials.
A print rich environment will help them with whatever they need to succeed in reading class in elementary classes as well as other upper lever curricula.
A poster machine will be a great asset to our small rural school and community.
