Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a Title I school, the majority of my students are English Language Learners. They are very excited to be at school, especially after a year online due to COVID-19 and would benefit greatly from resources that would boost their engagement and support their academic growth for their future success.
My Project
This project will help my students get engaged and stay engaged with their learning materials. Being able to have a colored printer would make the classroom work so much more fun for my students. They are so willing to learn and try new things. Being able to provide them with resources in color can give them creative visual aids and help communicate complex concepts to my students. The color will help to spark their imagination and creativity in the classroom. It will especially help us in upcoming phonics lessons and math.
