We are a vocational-based high school that educates students with special needs in the areas of academics as well as foster and develop social skills and pre-employment skills. As a school community, we are in need of essential technology that can be used as essential teaching tools to drive instruction.
As a school community, we would like all ten of our homeroom teachers to be properly equipped with the technology they need, to drive instruction and teach our students career and employment based skills.
Every class can benefit by having their own color printer. Teachers can use these color printers to properly prepare for instruction and provide essential color printed visuals that many of our students with multiple disabilities can utilize to better understand the world around them. Providing printers can also allow our students to further learn about technology and create their own printed projects.
