Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students will use the printer daily in school to print materials for their centers as well as all of the projects that they are involved in on an ongoing basis.
Children will use the color printer to showcase their projects for their parents as well as their peers throughout the units of study.
We will utilize the iPad to make movies as well as listen to songs, and individualize each child's needs on a daily basis. For children who require extra support the iPad will be utilized on an individualized basis. During the Lunar New Year month our students will engage each week in January with loads of activities. In week one, students will interview a friend with who, what, when, where, why, and how questions. During week two we will engage in an art handcrafted activity. Our second and third graders will come and teach us an activity for Lunar New Year which we will complete together. Finally, during week four we will zoom with MOCA, a virtual trip with our parents, and culminate our month long study on Chinese New Year.
