My second-grade classroom is transforming from a traditional classroom of instruction to a technology-infused classroom of collaboration and exploration.
At my school, students have a passion for learning but face unique challenges with the support of engaged families.
All of our school's students are eager to learn and have great potential. That is not to say that our school is without its challenges; our students deserve to learn skills that they can apply in their technology-rich futures and careers. I feel that providing opportunities for students to work with age-appropriate technology helps our students become better learners and gives them the foundations for a tech-infused future.
My Project
The printer for my class will help prepare the students for exciting creative lessons that will engage every student to think critically and solve problems. Having a printer can help me differentiate for my special needs students. Having the ability to see concrete samples and written words will allow for a smooth learning environment that will help each and every student maximize their learning.
The donations to this project will help ensure that each individual child will have the necessary supplies and resources available to succeed.
My students will be equipped with the essential materials that is needed to improve their writing and reading capabilities and ensure growth by the end of the year.
We do have a limit on printing, and our students aren't always able to print their work out and take it home. With this printer, they will be able to complete, share, and display their work. Having access to a printer will allow them to practice writing, typing, and printing their work which will make them college and career ready.
