Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am kickstarting this year off in kindergarten with a great attitude. My students will be eager to learn and ready to show me what they know on paper! The printer will help my class in so many ways.
When you look at a kindergarten classroom, you will see colorful charts- from sight words to life cycles.
You will also see students showing what they know on activity sheets or assessments. All of these things require a printer. I know, for me I'm a visual learner. So anything I can look at, from ABC's to learning goals, having visual posters/papers to reference is really helpful and I know it makes a world of difference to the students.
I will also be using the printer for homework packets as well as Teacher Pay Teacher packets. I'm sure many of you have heard how valuable TPT is as a resource for us teachers. There are many colorful small group games (like CVC words, rhyming, etc.) that can be printed out and played. This will help me see what the students know, and help guide us through the year. I would like to add that my current printer does not work anymore, and our school district is no longer replacing printers for classroom teachers. This is why I am asking for help.
