My Students
My students are all unique learners with the same end goal, to succeed. I want my students, despite their special accommodations, to reach their fullest potential and I believe these materials will help them do so. I am a special education teacher in a kindergarten ICT classroom in a NY public school. In addition, I teach a variety of after school curricular classes that would benefit from sports material and supplies. As a student, I loved playing basketball. I want to give these students the same opportunity to learn and love the rules of the game. Due to COVID, gym has taken a back seat and our students are only able to participate virtually. This project will allow them to have the sports materials readily available so despite COVID, we can get back to some normalcy, starting with sports!
I believe in my students and I want more than anything for them to be provided with what they need to succeed.

My Project
This project will be a huge help for the students in my classroom this year, and years to come! Unfortunately we do not have a printer in our classroom.
Having a printer would allow us to print materials needed on a daily basis instead of having to go elsewhere after work to print!
The ink would be used for the printer and would help us tremendously. In addition, the teachers pay teachers gift card will support all students as we differentiate to best accommodate their specific needs. We can continue to use these materials for years to come!
