Help me give my students the ability to print papers, resumes and college applications. We are blessed with new computers but no printer. Your donation could help students securing their future career/college paths through printing necessary papers.
We are an alternative high school. Our students have aged out of the system but have come to realize their past errors. These are students who have decided to buckled down and get their high school diplomas. We work on a trimester system rather than a semester program. Our goal is to help our students graduate and obtain meaningful careers. Some of our students will seek college, others military but the vast majority will work in the commercial sector. We offer programs that allow our students to meet regularly with employers. Additionally, in their senior year, our students spend the afternoons working in various local businesses.
My Project
The printer will allow students to print papers for classes as well as print college/job applications and resumes. Often we have employers come to the school to interview students. Many students need the ability to print their resume so that they can have a successful start to the job interviewing process. Printers are a necessary component to a computer. Without a printer, our students are missing the chance to professionally complete applications, resumes and classwork. Having a printer will also be useful to staff who need to print tests or lesson plans. A printer would be valued by everyone in the school. Thank you!
