My students need a printer to print out their amazing work! My students also need the blue tooth speaker to hear the wonderful novels we're going to be reading!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Students at FA come from a variety of backgrounds. Many students come to school each day not only to learn, but to feel a sense of belonging. Our school is a home for most of our students. Students in my classes also have varying abilities. Many of my students have learning disabilities that would benefit from numerous technology applications.
I know that creating a safe and welcoming classroom environment is more important than any lesson I will teach.
Students need to be able to forget about their problems at home and enjoy the time they spend at school. They also need to be confident in their abilities. I make sure that all of my students know that I am one of their biggest supporters and I believe in them.
Having technology in the classroom will open up opportunities that many of my students will only have at school.
My Project
A printer for my classroom will help my students enhance their 21st century skills. They need to be able to print documents such as essays, slideshows, and photos for projects.Being able to print will teach them responsibility and independence. It will get them college ready.
Having a printer in the classroom will help the students become less frustrated when it comes to handing in their work.
Being able to type their essays, poems, projects and Powerpoint presentations then printing them helps them to feel successful.
A blue tooth speaker for my classroom with students with learning disabilities makes reading more enjoyable. This will allow us to to read as a whole and have collaborative discussions.
