My students need a printer with a copier to have their work accessible.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach two groups of sixth grade math and social studies students. Our school is located in a low-income, high-crime area. I see that my students are faced with challenges both inside and outside the classroom. However, I do all that I can to provide an environment that is consistent, fun and engaging so they can get the most out of their days in my room.
My students are creative, clever, and very unique.
They like to move, and they love to receive lots of positive attention. Many of them are being raised in single-parent households and some in non-English-speaking families. They all receive a free breakfast and lunch based on their socioeconomic status.
My Project
My students love to write. They love to tell their stories, edit their work, and publish their final paper. They like being able to use the computer to type their finished projects. However, we have to wait till after class is over so I can connect to a printer so we can display their work in the classroom, on our bulletin boards in the hallway, or to send home with families.
Sharing their finished projects give them immense happiness.
I am requesting a printer that my students will be able to connect our classroom computer so we can have instant access to publish our work.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
