This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have wonderful and motivated students that come from different backgrounds. Ten of my students are English learners. They are from Armenia, El Salvador, and Guatemala. I have never seen kids that work this hard at school. They are extremely motivated to learn and do well. We live in a digital world that is full of the educational information that they need. Most of the students receive free lunch. They are extremely polite and kind students. Every day after lunch and recess, we come back ready to start where we left off. This is really an exceptional group of kind and hardworking students.
My Project
I would like to have my own printer in the classroom to be able to print fluency practice and fun high frequency worksheets for students. I teach intervention to K-1st students and need to print personalizes decodable and fluency texts for students as well as fun worksheets for high frequency words. Our school has a limit of how many copies we can make per month. I would like to be able to print right from my classroom printer. I have many exciting worksheets and practice fluency sheets that students can take home for practice.
