Save my students' work. They love to work and organize their assignments but it is too challenging since they do not have access to a computer at home. In addition, they cannot print their projects to show their mathematical skills. I had a printer last year but unfortunately it broke.
The school where I work is located in a low income neighborhood but I think that as a teacher, I cannot prevent them from doing the same quality of work as everyone else.
I teach 9th and 11th graders. I am teaching Algebra I Common Core, Algebra I Regents, and Algebra II. Most of the students do not have access to a computer and several others do not have the chance to attend school on a daily basis for different reasons. If I do not print the work, they will not be able to complete those assignments. Please, help my students get access to the work and practice to better improve their mathematical skills.
My Project
The printer will be used for me to print worksheets and for students to print their projects. Please help my students get access to this supply. I am providing my own ink but I chose this printer because at least it will save me money for ink and it is a strong printer as well.
Students will be able to provide more work.
In addition, they will have the chance to practice more math skills. The more worksheets and projects I give them, the more they learn and get ready for the regents. Now that I do not have a printer, it takes them way too much time copying down the problems than practice. I am teaching a variety of students who learn in different ways. For some of them, it takes them way too much time to do something.
