Printer for Differentiated Work and Native Language Instruction
Help me give my students access to printed materials on the spot, as it is crucial to be able to print scaffolds and differentiated materials at a moment's notice!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in an Integrated Co-Teaching class in NYC where all of the students come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and receive free breakfast and lunch. In ICT classes, students with disabilities are educated with age-appropriate peers in the general education classroom. The majority of my students are several levels below grade level and work needs to be tailored to each of their needs.
I love that my students come to school wanting to learn.
They need access to materials that are on their instructional levels but are also age-appropriate. A class printer and printing supplies will allow me to create grade-appropriate work and facilitate teaching students in a way that has their individual needs met.
A fourth of my students this year are asylum seekers. We have 3 languages spoken in the class in addition to English. I would like to be able to create resources in their native languages.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
