My students need a new color printer and some ink cartridges. This new printer will benefit all students in my classroom. They will all have the opportunity to print from the printer.

My Students

Our school is an urban public school with a diverse population. This is why this school is so special. The teachers and staff are very committed to all of the students. Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with 100% of our students receiving free lunch.

I am a Special Education Teacher working with students with Specific Learning Disabilities from Kindergarten to 3rd grade.

Most of my students learn best with visual aids. My project will provide my students with the technology that they really need! Technology can make abstract and difficult concepts welcoming and make learning more effective and lasting.

In the last few months, we have had a lot of students entering our school from Puerto Rico, where they had to escape the devastating Hurricane Maria. My students from Puerto Rico are learning English in my classroom!

My Project

I am a Special Education Teacher working with wonderful students with Learning Disabilities in Kindergarten to third grade at BF Elementary School. We are constantly doing projects in Math and Literacy to help my students. A new color printer will also allow us to complete some of our Math and Literacy projects that we can save and for our parents throughout the year. This printer will help me to get most of my students' worksheets on the spot allowing students to complete more classwork and projects in my class. Thank you in advance for all of your support!
