Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My fourth grade students are creative, thoughtful, and very inquisitive. I have a great bunch of scholars who are eager to learn and take on new challenges. The school has a community that is ethically diverse, and most are on free/reduced lunch. Many of the students are from families who are in the military, work at the Port, or live in the surrounding community. I am a first year teacher so I am doing what I can to provide them with the quality of education they deserve.
My students love to use technology in the classroom to challenge themselves whenever they can.
They are 21st century leaders who are advancing their technological skills each day.
My Project
The resources you will be contributing to will provide my students with access to real-world connections and to 21st century learning. I will be able to compile many resources from TPT for the whole school year that are engaging and specific to their development of learning. A printer will not only allow me to students to have students type and print their essays, but it also allows them to print other pieces of work that they are proud of. It will also allow me to print resources for hands-on, individual student achievement inside and outside of the classroom.
