My Students
My students attend one of three special education classrooms for primary and intermediate students. These are “blended classrooms,” meaning that our special education students have several opportunities daily to work alongside their general education classmates. The general and special education teachers partner to implement lessons and activities appropriate for both groups when they are blended. My classroom is a 4th-5th grade self-contained classroom that does blending with a partner general education fifth-grade classroom. We do many activities together such as calendar, art, free choice, music, PE, and library.
My Project
I need replacement toners and printing paper for our classroom printer to print materials. The materials I will print for my students help support learning at home. My students learn and demonstrate their learning the best when they have printed materials on which to work. This includes printed worksheets where they can write and/or cut out items, stories to read, comprehension questions that go with the stories, visuals to support students who are learning to read, art project templates and visual schedules to help support our class routine and expectations. Printed materials help to support at home learning and offers another access point to curriculum. They will use these printed items alongside the online material provided.
