Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have enthusiastic, energetic fifth graders who want to learn. They are a warm hearted and hard working group.
We are in a neighborhood where education is a priority, but finances tend to be tight.
Parents work very hard to help our school and students in what ever way they can, like through volunteering.
My Project
Our world is going high tech, but that doesn't work for everyone. I feel having a printer in the classroom will allow my students to share their creations with others both at home and in our school community. It also gives them an opportunity to edit something in their hands. Often online tools or lack of internet signal hinder my students' progress. Printing their work will remove some of the obstacles they may face in their learning. I want them to have every opportunity to achieve success in all their academic pursuits.
