My Project
Our media center is transforming into a dynamic hub for innovation and creativity—and at the heart of this transformation is our new Makerspace. To truly empower students to bring their ideas to life, we need one key tool: a 3D printer.
A 3D printer will allow students to design and build models, prototype inventions, and solve real-world problems through hands-on learning.
With this tool, they can:
Create models that tie into science, math, and social studies lessons
Engineer custom game pieces, bookmarks, and school supplies
Prototype solutions for community challenges or design-thinking projects
Learn CAD (computer-aided design) and design process skills that build STEM confidence
Participate in cross-curricular projects that encourage collaboration and creativity
Our library serves [insert number] K–5 students, many of whom are English Language Learners and visual learners who benefit deeply from tactile, project-based learning. A 3D printer will give them the chance to engage with learning in a new, exciting, and meaningful way.
Your support will help us cultivate curiosity, critical thinking, and future-ready skills in our students—all while sparking joy and pride in their creations.
