As part of the Print Production Class, students are learning how to design using CAD software and printing in-house designs using a 3d printer.
My students are creative, and absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
Teaching an engaging class will bring students to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
My Project
Designing, Math concepts, collaboration, and production of real-world products using a 3d printer and all forms of media.
Students can use this Dremel Digilab 3D20 3D Printer as a fundraiser tool while exploring business options and working hands-on with potential customers to design objects for printing.
Collaboration with other classes that design in cad and print with a 3d printer while in a business setting, enables students to get a hands-on opportunity to design, print, display and share with the student body.
Students will use reading, writing and math skills as they use available software and computer lags to design and print models in class and share with CTE classes.
Bringing 21 Century Skills here while having fun learning will create a student-friendly environment to foster the CTE Career Pathway.
