My students are so creative and need to apply their creativity in a positive environment. They have so many untold stories inside, just waiting for the opportunity to be told.
Preserving history is paramount in this ever changing world.
Students need an outlet where their story can be told even when they think no one is listening. What better way then to put your thoughts in printed form for lasting memories and get credit for doing so. The future is at our fingertips and we need to grasp it while we can.
My Project
Being a teacher at one of Newark's High Schools, I have the opportunity to teach children for four years.
My students will be creating "works of art" in Print Production Class and to preserve/display their works, a high end printer is needed to print photos, booklets, logos and everything else to create their publishing portfolios they will be able to share with family members and potential employers for years.
It is so important to preserve memories, and my students will be able to create printed portfolios given the opportunity to use a high end printer.
