This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students in a classroom learn in various ways. Technology has given many different ways on how to present information to students. One thing that will always be effective despite all the new technology is paper assignments/readings. Students do need learning time without technology. There will be days where internet connection will not work due to many different factors. It is nice to still have paper assignments to supplement a lesson, especially on days when the power/internet crashes.
Paper is still needed in the classroom to help future leaders learn.
Having a printer that can print in color and black/white ink is important in a classroom. Most printers at school only print in black and white. Sometimes for students color is needed. This is especially important for bilingual students who need pictures to distinguish some words. Not only for bilingual students, all students will benefit from having colored copies at hand when learning in the classroom.
