My students are talented artists, writers, and innovative thinkers. While we have black & white printers elsewhere in the school, we often need to print student work, templates, examples, and decorations on the fly and I can't leave the class unsupervised to do this. Plus, color adds brightness to our days!
With this color printer and scanner, my Art students will be able to share their work and access the work of others much more easily.
Additionally, my ELA students will be able to print multi-modal projects in the classroom, rather than waiting for me to wait in line at the printer all the way across the school.
While I love a xeroxed zine as much as the next person, some 21st century projects require additional resources that a large shared xerox machine cannot provide.
