This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our second grade classroom we have young, excited learners in a low income area. My class is made up of a diverse group of students including English Language Learners. These resources will assist and encourage my students in learning to read and write in new and creative ways. These students and I need a way to print essential resources (charts, phonics, puzzles, calming boards, decodable texts and visual aids) to help foster in their learning. Printing in color will spark learners interest and help engage them in printed text. When they create their own writing on tablets or computers we need a way to print and display their work.
