This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our 3D printing program has been a game-changer for student creativity, engineering, and hands-on learning. To keep the momentum going, we need to restock essential tools like glue guns, filament, SD cards, and replacement printer parts, including hotends, nozzles, PEI build plates, and extruders. These supplies ensure our students can continue designing, prototyping, and problem-solving without interruption. With reliable materials on hand, students can focus on innovation rather than troubleshooting broken equipment or running out of key supplies.

A 3D printer without supplies is like a car without gas—it just can’t go anywhere!

Our students rely on these tools to bring their ideas to life, from printing molecular models for chemistry to designing prototypes for engineering challenges. Filament in vibrant colors helps them visualize concepts in ways textbooks simply can’t, while storage devices like SD cards and USB drives allow them to save and refine their work. Replacement parts like hot-ends and nozzles ensure precise printing, PEI build plates provide a stable printing surface, and extruders keep material flowing smoothly. With these critical components, our printers stay in top shape, reducing downtime and frustration so students can keep creating.

By replenishing these supplies, we’re ensuring that students have the opportunity to explore, experiment, and develop real-world problem-solving skills. Whether they’re testing the aerodynamics of a custom design, improving sustainability with innovative prototypes, or learning how to troubleshoot technical issues, these tools empower them to think critically and push the boundaries of their creativity. With your support, we can keep our 3D printing program thriving, giving students the resources they need to build the future—one layer at a time!
