My Students

My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and 35% of the school population is economically disadvantaged. With the current situation, our country is facing with the pandemic, many of my students have been affected in some way. Many of my students' parents have been laid off from work and are now facing serious issues in the home.

As wonderful as it is to be with my students face to face during the school day and having them engage in physical activity during PE, this is a completely different situation, trying to find creative ways to have my students continue to be active physically from a distance is extremely frustrating.

I am looking for ways to continue to be the inspiration in their lives to have them continue with good health and fitness.

My Project

As educators continue to be an integral part of every student’s life, technology will bridge the physical spaces between teachers and learners. During this pandemic, it has been a challenge for every teacher to ensure all students have access to interactive learning. This is especially true for those students who do not have access to the internet.

By having a printer in the classroom, you can make sure students don't have to go to an internet cafe or library, to print out their documents.

This will save them time, money, and stress as, deadlines start looming.

When researching issues related to sports science, students without access to the internet can utilize the printer to print their projects. Top athletes and coaches use their understanding of science and engineering to help improve their students' performance. In addition to that knowledge, better nutrition and science-based training regimes result in amazing athletes!
