My Project
Introducing a 3D printer to our special education classroom marks a transformative leap towards enriching the learning experiences of my exceptional students. This comprehensive project, encompassing personalized communication symbols, fidgets, math manipulatives, and small rewards, seeks to empower students with diverse needs, fostering a more inclusive, dynamic, and tailored educational journey.
At its core, this initiative aims to provide a vital voice for students grappling with verbal expression challenges.
The utilization of 3D-printed communication symbols becomes an avenue for inclusive communication, ensuring that each student can effectively express themselves. This innovation addresses not only the immediate academic context but also nurtures essential life skills and independence.
The creation of personalized fidgets serves a dual purpose: addressing the unique sensory needs of students while promoting a hygienic learning environment. Crafting individualized fidgets ensures a tailored approach to sensory profiles and minimizes the risk of germ transmission associated with shared toys, especially crucial in current health-conscious times.
