Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
More than 80% of our school population are students who are transitioning and have unstable housing. Many of our primary students did not attend prekindergarten, VPK or a head start program, so we strive in ensuring that our primary students receive the best instruction and resources in order to meet the students learning goals. Primary students in grades kindergarten through 2nd grade will utilize the primary composition notebooks for Reading and Writing. Students in kindergarten will be able to practice their daily handwriting practice as well as practice writing their names in kindergarten. All primary K-2 students will be able to write their daily sentence frames and writing prompts. With tgese writing
journals, they will also be able to draw an illustration for their writing.
