Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is a Title I school where 52% of our students are English Learners who come from the Pacific Islands of Micronesia.

A majority of our students do not come with prior schooling experiences like preschool.

These items - magnetic building set, modeling dough, costumes for imaginary play and more - will help assist our students to learn through active play in order to build task oriented and communication skills as well as healthy social, emotional skills.

My students are so excited when they come into PSAP. They enjoy playing in our pretend kitchen where they prepare foods and share how they help at home. My students are special because they can come in an play and have no distractions or worries around them.
