This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach over 700 students ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade at two Title I schools. My students live in a rural part of South Carolina and come from a variety of diverse backgrounds. This project would support the students at both of my schools.

My students are creative, smart, and eager to have hands-on learning activities that will prepare them to become 21st-century learners.

I want all of my students to have the opportunity to create artwork with all the materials they need and provide them with a fun, engaging, and hands-on learning environment.

My Project

My students are excited and ready to paint! After a year and a half of online teaching, my students and I are ready to come back and start creating. Our art room is in dire need of complete tempera cake sets, multicultural tempera cake sets and tempera refills to keep us rocking and rolling all year long!

I am requesting new tempera cake sets and refills so we may complete a number of art projects in the 2021-2022 school year.

We will use the tempera sets and refills to create self-portraits, robot paintings, animal paintings and many more projects.
