This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My second graders are awesome. They are kind, smart, energetic, and eager to learn. This year, we need to focus on making that connection between sounds, letters, and words to print. Also, they need to learn how to write complete sentences and paragraphs.
This year, I would like to get some primary-grade composition journals for my first and/or second graders.
I would like them to have these journals because it will help them improve their penmanship. It is very important to learn how to do the correct letter formation, and these journals will help my students by showing them where a letter starts and where it ends. These journals also have space on the top so students can draw a picture that matches their writing. As they improve, they will use these journals to write narrative stories, give their opinion, and write information.
