My Project
In my pursuit of creating the most inclusive school library I can, I am focused on improving the selection of books that talk about the history of the Pride movement and talk about members of the LGBTQ+ Community who have made significant contributions to our world.
At the my school, we believe that everyone belongs and that students should be able to learn history that includes marginalized communities.
By adding these books to our school library collection, I believe diversity, equity and inclusion is being positively addressed.
