Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For this proposal, I am requesting items feminine hygiene products for my students when they are on their cycle and other items that provide comfort for my art students. Very often kiddos are in need of these items. I work hard to develop a trusting relationship with my students and being able to provide these items can give students a sense of being cared for and important. Many either forget feminine products, are caught off guard, or struggle to afford these items. Additionally, I like to have triple antibiotic cream in the art room, because my art students are expected to care for art tools, and they should be taken care of too!
