This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are very excited about coming to school and learning every single day! They are constantly writing and are very creative. My students are always looking out for each other. They keep each other on task while working in groups.

They absolutely love hands-on activities!

They are growing each and every day and inspiring each other. I use many different learning strategies, group work and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met.

They are an incredible group and I am so excited and thankful to have them this year.

My Project

It is very important that students get excited about their learning and become aware of their educational growth over the school year.

Tracking students' progress on paper is the original way but photos will leave a lasting impact for all learners.

Celebrating a students' accomplishments is an important part of the learning process. Documenting student growth through pictures will allow students to get excited about learning and take ownership of it.

The Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 Instant Film Camera will allow me and students to photograph students’ work effortlessly and instantly.

These photos will be a part of an end of the year photo album that will chronicle students’ accomplishments throughout the year. Such keep sakes will help them continue the educational growth.
