Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Pretend play offers numerous benefits for preschoolers with disabilities, including; enhanced social skills, improved communication, and boosted problem-solving abilities. Pretend play as a doctor, at a Pet Vet, or as a cashier with a cash register provides a safe, engaging space for children to explore roles, develop language, and practice social interactions. For children with disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum, pretend play can be a powerful tool for developing crucial skills that support overall development and well-being.
In childhood, a magical space exists where reality blurs with imagination, giving rise to a crucial facet of development known as pretend play.
Your donation can provide a magical imagined world for my students. While playing they can be exposed to rich language experiences for acquisition. The focus of this project is to provide engaging activities, sparking imagination and creativity, and developing skills.
