Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a great group of special needs students with extensive support needs, who love to play pretend. The problem is that we don’t have anything for them in our classroom.
I am asking for a dollhouse and furniture so that my children don’t grab the preschool toys, but rather have their own.
It is also a great way for them to learn about social emotional stories and vocabulary!
They are limited English proficient and non-speaking so having real items in our classroom would be a great way to teach vocabulary.
