My Project
I love that my students come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and bring so much joy, creativity, and curiosity into our classroom. They are thoughtful, imaginative, and eager to learn about themselves and others. Every day, I see how much they grow through play as they explore friendship, problem solving, and the world around them.
That is why I want to give them dramatic play materials that reflect the beautiful diversity in our classroom and community.
Dolls with different skin tones, cultural play food, and inclusive dress up clothes will allow my students to see themselves represented and to learn about people who are different from them in fun and meaningful ways.
These materials will help build empathy, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging. When children feel seen and valued, they thrive. With your help, my students will learn that everyone deserves a place in the story, even during playtime.
