Pretend Play Perfection

Help me give my students a dress-up​ center that is easy to organize and use for pretend play.

My Students

My students are full of wonder and curiosity. They are constantly exploring the world around them and learning new things every day. Pre-K is all about hands-on learning and my students love to dig in with all their five senses.

My students come from all different types of backgrounds and cultures.

Many of them have little or no experience with the world around them. Their parents have limited resources and are unable to buy them educational toys to help them progress and succeed. Their main experience comes from my classroom and the trips I take them on.

Even after 17 years of teaching it still amazes me as I watch them grow and learn. Pre-K students have an amazing ability to soak in information. The growth in their maturity and learning is so rapid. The more we expose them to, the more they grow. The metamorphosis throughout the year is absolutely the most incredible sight I have ever seen.

My Project

My students have a variety of pretend play clothing and hats. The clothing is in a small storage container. They are piled up. My students sift through the clothing and hats in order to find what they need. This limits their time and imagination.

The dress up carousel will make it possible for my students to see the dress up clothes and hats all at once and in an organized fashion.

This organization will help my students to reach the materials they want quicker and allow for their imagination to grow. My students will be able to use all the materials efficiently and develop their role play skills and ideas to their fullest extent.
