This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My preschoolers look forward to coming to school everyday to play and learn with their school friends. When they are engaging in pretend play activities, they are learning new and exciting ways to communicate, take turns and create "real world" experiences with their classmates. Pretend grocery store items, table toys, tunnels and games will help to reinforce language development as well as enhancing their social skills.

I am currently working in a school where these opportunities/materials are limited for my students at home.

Having these opportunities in the classroom will allow my students to help grow and learn positive ways to communicate with others in their environment.
