Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My amazing 5th grade students are bright, creative, and will make you laugh every day! They come from diverse backgrounds and are mostly from low-income households. When it comes to learning, unfortunately, they do not have the opportunity to help supply the classroom with supplies or tools that we may need to learn and increase engagement. Many students are performing below their expected grade level requirements and would benefit from these items and tools to aid in their daily learning activities.

I hope you can help bring more smiles and the love of learning to my 5th grade classroom!

My Project

This printer will give my students an opportunity to present their final projects on paper. In science, we research and type their research papers, along with vocabulary cards and pictures. My students would benefit from having a working printer so I could continue my work in engaging them in our activities. This will make a difference in sharing their knowledge with the class and making revisions to their projects. My students make their notices to go home and they will be able to share their designs with their families for Parent Night.

Students would be able to print their final drafts and hang them for Parent Night.
