Pressing the Money

Help me give my students the ability to host a classroom store and learn how to use money! Most of my kiddos don't know how to make change let alone count money!

My Project

Imagine being a 12, 13, or 14-year-old and struggling to identify and count money, let alone give change. This is a common challenge faced by many middle school students. Introducing "Pressing Money Hard," a program designed to not only guide students in task completion but also educate them about financial literacy!

Empowering middle school students with Financial Literacy Skills is important.

In this innovative initiative, students will operate a non-profit class store, where they will develop a small business plan incorporating both English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. They will determine product prices, create advertisements, and gain insights into the STEM field. This hands-on experience will equip students with essential skills to budget effectively and navigate real-world financial decisions.
