This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarten students are creative, curious, and full of heart. They love making things with their hands—drawing, cutting, painting, and crafting. This project will bring a heat press machine into our classroom so we can take that creativity to the next level with hands-on projects that help us learn, celebrate, and grow together!
With a heat press, we’ll be able to make class T-shirts, personalized tote bags, graduation gifts, and learning materials like alphabet shirts or counting visuals.
These items won’t just be cute—they’ll be used in our daily learning to help students make real-world connections, develop fine motor skills, and build a sense of ownership in their classroom work.
Many of my students come from hardworking families who may not have access to extra supplies or personalized keepsakes. By having this tool in our classroom, every child can walk away with something they helped create—something they’re proud of and can take home.
My students are incredibly special. They are kind, resilient, and ready to learn—whether they’re learning letters, helping a friend zip their backpack, or designing their very first T-shirt. Your support helps us bring their creativity to life in a lasting and meaningful way.
