This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach an amazing group of students with diverse needs, including autism, intellectual disabilities, and emotional disabilities. Each of them learns in their own unique way, and I love seeing their excitement when they engage with lessons tailored to their strengths. My students thrive with hands-on, visual, and interactive learning materials, and having a classroom printer will make a world of difference in their daily learning experience.
With a printer, ink, and paper readily available, I can create individualized worksheets, visual supports, and adapted materials that meet each student’s learning level.
For students who need extra challenges or additional support, I can quickly print differentiated work to ensure they stay engaged and successful. Early finishers will have access to fresh, new activities to keep them learning while they wait for the next lesson. And as an added motivation, my students will be able to choose fun coloring pages as a reward for completing their work—a simple yet powerful way to encourage focus and persistence!
This project will allow me to provide the resources my students need at our fingertips, ensuring that no one falls behind and every child feels capable and confident in their learning journey.
