This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a second grade teacher in a low income school, where I try to motivate my students to do great work. Unfortunately supplies are limited, but the students and I try our best.
Due to the fact that supplies are limited in our school we have to get creative and make our own material for our students to use. The problem is that no matter how hard my students try things always get ripped our just wear out because of all the use. A laminating machine would solve this problem because it could help me maintain my classroom supplies looking like new. The laminating machine will preserve students' math games and other center activities that need to be used and shared by children through out the year. It will also help keep the students work intact in order to put it in displays, or keep it as examples for future years.
My students deserve to have great material to work with. In order to do so the laminating machine will be very helpful and would aid students' learning in all subjects. It will also provide them with a better classroom environment where their supplies and displays will keep looking like new.
