My Project

As a K-5 Visual Arts teacher I see almost 550 students in a week. My project is the "Use of Art Journals" which will help the students to engage with with creative expressions & experimentation.

My goal to build my students' confident in expressing, learning & sharing their creative ideas which will strengthen their vocabulary skills.

The art journaling allows students to express themselves freely without the pressure of creating artworks. Journals helps the students to develop fine motor skills & can be used to observe and record details of the world around them.

Journals help students to learn about the Elements of arts and understand/use of the vocabulary words to discuss an artwork.
