My Students

My students are Business and Marketing students ready to take on the world outside of high school. They are fun, creative, talented and fearless when it comes to technology. As children of the 21st century, they are excited and eager to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.

We are also beginning to see the impact of lack of face-to-face interaction with our students.

We are hopeful as a Business and Marketing department to bring them back to life with real world experience in presenting and speaking with their peers.

My Project

This presentation desk will help students feel more confident and professional when presenting their ideas to their peers. Since Covid, all teachers are seeing the social impact that shutting down schools and going to online learning has had on kids. Many kids are timid, shy, and feel otherwise inadequate to talk to their peers and present to the class.

We would like to be able to use a desk in our Business and Marketing classes that will rise up so students can stand confident, but still have access to their prepared materials in order to practice and polish their presentation skills.
